Mini Meal Diet

I got this one from the book “World’s Best Kept Diet Secrets.” While the calorie content may be a little high for some people, it actually doesn’t look to bad in my opinion. Though their claim that you can lose 5-6 lbs in three days seems a little questionable.

 

Menu One

 

Breakfast: 1 cup frosted shredded wheat with skim milk + coffee or tea.

Snack: ˝ cup cubed cantaloupe or one apple.

Lunch: 4 ounces of sliced turkey breast on whole grain bread with 1 teaspoon of mustard + mixed green salad + coffee, tea, or diet soda.

Snack: 1 cup of skim milk + 1 chocolate chip cookie. *that seems a lil iffy to me*

Dinner: 3 ounces of broiled chicken or fish + 1 cup of cooked spinach + coffee, tea, or iced water.

Snack: 6 ounces of low fat yogurt.

 

Menu Two

 

Breakfast: ˝ cup of strawberries + 6 ounces of low fat yogurt + coffee or tea.

Snack: ˝ cup of baby carrots + 6 pretzels.

Lunch: 1 cup of canned vegetable soup + 4 saltine crackers + coffee, tea or diet soda.

Snack: 1 apple.

Dinner: 3 ounces of sirloin steak (I probably would go for the chicken instead) + 1 cup of sliced green beans + coffee, tea, or iced water.

Snack: ˝ cup low fat frozen yogurt.
